Invitation to AAA Student members - Become a SAS Member for free

There are no membership fees for student members of the AAA

Dear Student,

I am writing on behalf of the Society for Anthropological Sciences (SAS), to invite you to join this new professional organization. SAS is registered in the American Anthropological Association as an interest group. We will soon become a section in the AAA.

SASci, the independent parent organization, was formed in 2002 as an effort to promote empirical research and social science in anthropology. Its AAA Interest Group, SAS, was organized at the 2003 AAA meetings in Chicago.

SAS recognizes the value of student participation and membership, and offers a variety of benefits to its student members. As a student member you will have access to leaders in the field of anthropological sciences via the online discussion board and list-serv. Student membership in SAS is free, provided you are a member of the AAA. You are welcome to join the SASci list-serv at any time, regardless of member status.

For registration and information on student member benefits and the list-serv, please visit our web page at http://www.anthrosciences.org.

We look forward to your participation in the SAS. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments regarding membership.

Best regards,
