Vote for SASci Officers, Board Members and Student Board Members through January 31st, 2010

Please complete this ballot for the Society for Anthropological Sciences (SASci) The elections are for SASci, the independent group. However, the elected members will be submitted as a single slate to the AAA for election to SAS, the AAA Section later in the year. All members of SAS (the AAA section) are members of SASci, but not vice versa. All members of SASci are eligible to stand for election and vote in the election. If a nominee who is not a member of the AAA is elected to office and does not wish to pay to join the AAA SAS will pay their AAA membership fees for the duration of their tenure in office.

All members of SASci and the AAA Section for Anthropological Sciences (SAS) may vote. Please note that although you may have signed up for SASci in the past, if you have not paid dues for over 12 months technically your membership has lapsed. We are not enforcing this at this time, but you should pay annual dues of $10 in the near future (use this link to pay). We will enforce this in future.

If you are not a member you may sign up and pay using using the links following. If you just want to join the independent SASci, dues are $10. Sign up and you will be contacted regarding payment of dues, or you can pay with the link provided in the signup process. If you want to join SASci and SAS, the AAA section, you must sign up on the AAA site (although you can use the link below to link to the AAA site) and tick the box for the Section for Anthropological Sciences, and pay there the membership dues of $10. You are not required to pay $10 for SASci membership in addition to the AAA dues supplement for SAS. If you do not want to join the AAA, use the link below to sign up for membership, and pay your dues of $10.

You may cast a vote for one person for each position, or abstain. If you return later to change your votes, the earlier one will be disregarded for all candidates, so fill the form out completely each time.

For compatibility with AAA tenures, SASci terms begin and end following an AAA Annual Meeting. Terms for this election will begin at the conclusion of the next AAA Annual Meeting. All end years refer to the end of the AAA Annual Meeting for that year.
