Papers and Panels at SASci 2009 Las Vegas Meeting

Michael Fischer, Murray Leaf, Dwight Read, and maybe Larry Kuznar are planning a panel on computer analysis of kinship.

David Lancy is putting together a panel, didn't specify what, but might be on childhood/child development.

Margo Hurwicz might be putting together a panel, possibly on cognitive methods or medical anthropology issues, but might join another panel.

Victor DeMunck is discussing panels with several people about a couple of different topics (kinship and cognitive anthropology).

Rhianna Rogers is presenting a paper "La Reconquista de la Mujer: Transformation and Resilience of Aztec and Mayan women, 200-1550"

Doug White's team is probably going to have a panel.

Justin Nolan is proposing a paper on ethnographic application of scales in sampling design, specifically their geographic applications in mapping cultural identity.
